Manuscripts submitted for publication may be written in Romanian, English, or Russian. Regardless of the language in which they are written, the title, abstract and keywords (5-7 words) of the articles must be in English. Manuscripts should be submitted by email in MS Word (.doc or .docx) format to the following address: slovo@lls.unibuc.ro. Authors are kindly requested to carefully read and strictly adhere to the style guide available in the Instructions for Authors document, accessible here: Instrucțiuni pentru autori (RO); Instructions for Authors (EN). Please also consult the template for proper manuscript formatting: Template_SLOVO.
Upon receiving the acceptance for publication, authors are kindly requested to complete and sign the Publication agreement, which should be sent by email in PDF format to the editors: slovo@lls.unibuc.ro. The Publication agreement may be accessed here.
Minimum requirements for acceptance for publication in SLOVO journal
The article should follow a logical and clear structure (Abstract, Introduction + Working Hypothesis, Conceptual Framework, Demonstration, Conclusions). Below is a more detailed example:
- The abstract of each paper should refer to:
- the type of paper (theoretical synthesis/ analysis/ comparative study/ case study, etc.);
- the central theme of the paper;
- the purpose of the research/ synthesis/ case study and the main hypothesis/ starting point;
- fundamental conclusions.
- Introduction:
- a paragraph presenting the problem/theme of the article, the general directions of the studied topic;
- the introduction will (also) refer to: the novelty of the topic, the general objectives of the research, the methodology used;
- working hypothesis – what is the paper aiming to prove.
- Conceptual framework;
- The actual demonstration/analysis;
- Concrete conclusions that may include personal opinions on the results obtained in the paper, as well as potential future research directions related to the topic;
- Bibliographical references.
Works that have not been cited at least once in the course of the paper should not be listed as bibliographical sources!
