All articles submitted for publication will undergo a multi-stage editorial review process:
- In the initial stage of the evaluation process, the editors will undertake anti-plagiarism checks on all articles submitted by authors (for further details, please refer to the Ethics and Malpractice section). Only those articles that satisfy the requisite standards of academic integrity and ethical conduct will proceed to the subsequent phases of the review process.
- In the subsequent stage, the editorial team will ascertain the alignment of the articles submitted with the previously announced theme of the volume. The editors will then evaluate the articles, assessing both their adherence to the writing standards outlined in the Instructions for Authors section and their scientific merit. The criteria for the evaluation of the scientific quality of the articles encompass the following:
- accuracy of the facts presented;
- proven familiarity with relevant research;
- credibility of bibliographical resources;
- scientific relevance of the research;
- logical organization of arguments, clarity of exposition and argumentation.
- Each author will receive an editorial evaluation report, which will contain one of the following decisions:
(a) acceptance without changes
(b) acceptance with minor changes
(c) acceptance on the condition that the material be revised and resubmitted.
(d) rejection
In each case, the report will include comments and recommendations that authors are expected to follow. The assessment report is available here.
